Water Filter PSA

Perhaps it's time for your reverse osmosis water filter

Water Filter PSA

This is a public service announcement. For those of you who live in the United States, as of August, 2017, most of our states have now breached the acceptable levels of lead poisoning in the water coming out of our sinks and usually what we’re served in restaurants.  It’s NOT just Flint, Michigan, anymore!  Check and see if your state is on the list! The good news is you can invest in a simple $200 Reverse Osmosis Water Filter and install it under your sink. You’ll get free drinking water for life. Water filters are cheap, easy to replace (only once a year). I did this a year ago and right away my health improved in every way. Digestive, Mental and overall wellbeing. If you have questions or comments, please join the online conversation happening below this video. You can log in with Facebook or Twitter, if you like. God we thank You for fresh, clean, drinking water. We pray it is in our lives always. Please guide us in life sustaining ways.  Amen.

  1. Oh, I’m so glad the conversation is going on. Someone just pointed out it takes 3-4 gallons of tap water to make one gallon of filtered water, and asked if I knew there was a water shortage, shouldn’t I just save water and drink the tap?

Yes, I do care about the environment, enormously, and watch our water use with care. But consider these two things

    1. 10 years of intense battle with constipation: Gone, 100% and for over a year now, all because of drinking reverse osmosis filtered water

    2. Memory problems, increasingly, beginning to think I had permanent brain damage from earlier prodigal wreckless living, or past epidural pain blocks and pain meds for my back… shockingly, gone! Childhood memories returned, sharp acumen for acing programming school tests and certifications, mostly because of drinking reverse osmosis filtered water

    3. Of the total amount of fresh water us humans consume in the western states, 80-90% of it is from agriculture, depending on which source you look at:

    Over 90% agriculture: https://www.ers.usda.gov/topics/farm-practices-management/irrigation-water-use.aspx

    80% agriculture: https://www.kcet.org/commentary/drought-by-the-numbers-where-does-california-water-go

According to the second source (above) “About 14 percent is poured into bathtubs, toilets, and washing machines or sprayed over residential lawns.”

Since learning these numbers, if they are accurate, how much water we use at the tap is not quite so “make or break the limited freshwater supply” as I once thought. You and I want to make a difference in our world, we know it’s in deep doodah trouble and we know we have gifts and God’s spirit leading us forward to help. We cannot do that without our health.

Jesus said to the woman at the well “Drink the water I give you…” and I think He says to you “Drink the one gallon of water that took four gallons to purify for your body, which is the temple of My Holy Spirit, and the vessel you and I both need to be strengthened to be the effective light of the world We want you to be”
