Heal Climate with an
Earth Sabbath:
One day a week of none of our smoke
For decades, our Earth’s scientists have been begging the rest of us to back off on all the toxic pollution we have been spewing into the atmosphere. Powering our engines and electric power grids by the burning of fossil fuels (Coal and Oil) leads the pack of the things that are heating Planet Earth up. There are other things—all caused by human activities which must also be addressed—but we focus on the greatest offender of them all: our overwhelming accumulation and continued assault on our atmosphere and ocean with our fossil fuel pollution.
After a century of warnings from climate-specializing scientists that our smoke would negatively impact our climate, for a variety of reasons, we haven’t managed to get the job of curbing our fossil fuel pollution. Instead, every day it grows worse and our earth’s atmosphere is clearly overwhelmed. So our world’s oceans, that’s where most of the carbon that the sky is able to release goes, into the reluctant sea. The ocean waters are presently toxifying from carbon overload in a way that is taking part in the death of plankton. Our tees are our friends. They take as much carbon out of our atmosphere as they can… the ones we don’t cut down for our beef cravings and lumber needs.
Our overall global temperature began it’s noticeable climb in 1978. This was predicted and dutifully warned by our world’s scientific community, but sadly, their voices were either silenced or cleverly discredited by deceptive, so-called scientists, career professionals employed by fossil fuel companies to parade the appearance that there was somehow a debate on the issue.
Since 2014, every year the Earth is warmer than the year before. Not every location on Earth has experienced it at the same level, but the global average has been 2 degrees Fahrenheit hotter than the year before.
This is called a trend. Trends allow us to look at the future. No mystic, psychic, or fortune teller is necessary to tell us what has become the abundantly clear writing on the wall:
We are headed toward total climatic destruction, and each year we continue to spew our smoke into our overwhelmed atmosphere, we are stating clearly and succinctly that we want to die. Indeed, we are racing toward extinction.
Who likes to breathe?
Gee, I love it. Sometimes we take it for granted and forget that we’ve got oxygen running through our veins. Of course, we all want to breathe.
70%: Human body’s water content: 70%: Ocean waters covering Earth’s surface. 70%: the amount of OXYGEN the Ocean produces for all of the Earth.
Our Ocean’s little oxygen angels come in the form of four seawater plants: kelp, algal, plankton and phytoplankton) that live in it. These plants produce oxygen as a byproduct of photosynthesis, a process which converts carbon dioxide and sunlight into sugars the organism can use for energy.
Plankton.
Those tiny little critters are actually our oxygen angels—also all the fish of the Sea, they are oxygen breathers, too, and they get all of their oxygen from the Plankton—as well as the vital foundation of the Ocean’s food supply.
Certainly, our oxygen dependency on the Ocean must become understood by all of humanity. The ocean’s plants that make our oxygen are beginning to die off because of the our pollution. The sea is a carbon sink for all that black smoke that we are gushing up in our atmosphere. And it’s oversaturated so that it’s natural processes for dealing with carbon are overloaded, and if it continues, the ocean will die and we shall die with it, choking on air rich in smog, devoid of oxygen.
Ocean water holds oxygen best at 38 degrees farenheit. The warmer the water gets, the less oxygen it can hold. All the creatures of the sea depend on the water holding oxygen, so the entire life of the Sea is dependent on both the health of the plankton and the event of humanity waking up and deciding together to stop warming up our planet and work together to turn this big ship around.
Our second primary source of oxygen, I think we all know this one, comes from our friends, the trees. Our forests are being destroyed faster than ever.
Half the world’s rain forests have been razed in a century, and the latest satellite analysis shows that in the last 15 years new hot spots have emerged from Cambodia to Liberia. At current rates, they will vanish altogether within 100 years. 30% of our oxygen needs come from the forests, much of the fresh water we need from rain depends on the forests. About 12% of all man-made climate emissions now comes from deforestation, mostly in tropical areas
Why are we cutting down all of our forests? Beef. Palm Oil. Lumber. Mostly beef. Raising cattle destroys the ground so it is not good for anything for the forty years the earth takes to rejuvenate. We clear cut a forest (demolish every living tree) then set what’s left on fire to make perfect pasture for the cows. Horrific suffering and devastation to our climate is happening because of this. If we unite in understanding and willingness to work together, all across the world, we can put the brakes on deforestation. I am very hopeful and confident that we will do this.
Everybody knows that wood comes from trees. Most people know that our world’s forests are under threat from all the logging. But do most people in our world know that beef production is the number one reason why forests are being cut down, burned then used for temporary raising of cows for beef: temporary, because the cows destroy the land so that it cannot even be used for growing food or trees for many decades.
Because of the lack of understanding and the lack of willingness, the nation’s governments of our world have not been able to move with clear resolve to stop the destruction of our atmosphere, forests, nor the many ways we are waging war against all life in our oceans.
With the greatest respect and dedicated attentiveness to all the plans and advice our climate scientists and environmentalist have been giving us, I want you all to know I am with you! Yes, your advice is golden. You are all saying the same kinds of things, very doable actions humanity is called upon to take, and have not been able to take, but we shall, because we must. Please don’t give up hope, we simply need a universal plan, universal action, with universal coordination. That’s what this book is about.
So enough of the over-polluting and enough of the deforestation. We the people of the Earth want to live. We care about our forests and our oceans. It is their protection and health that can keep food on our plates, fresh drinking water for our glasses and to water the food we grow for ourselves and for our livestock. It is our oceans and trees health which our continued supply of oxygen to breathe is dependent on.
Another huge motivator for us to fix this mess we have gotten ourselves in: Sea Rise. 60% of us live within 37 miles of the Ocean. At the time of this writing in May, 2018, that equates to 4.5 Billion human lives living close to the ocean. Currently living in Los Angeles, California, I live 11 miles from the Pacific Ocean, and hey! we “west coast” people don’t want to become climate refugees, running inland away from the monstrous, destructive sea rise and ever-increasing hurricanes and tsunamis! Here on the western half of the United States, we are living with the threat of our drinking water drying up, and hey! we don’t want to become climate refugees, running for our lives to find drinking water!
Those who have been aware and actively trying to help the rest of us wake up have done beautiful work, but they are frustrated because our nation’s governments are literally unable to respond in a way that would protect their people, because governments run on money, money in our current world runs on fossil fuels, literally, it does, we’ve been trapped in this conundrum.
Insanity is doing the same kinds of actions over and over even when they’re not working. Let’s not wait any longer for our nation’s governments to decide it’s time to stop the criminal destruction of our skies, oceans and forests and come together—all of us who are willing and the many more who will become willing as their survival instincts inform them to join the rest of us who are moving in the correct direction to stop our human caused, fossil fuel and deforestation driven, life-threatening climate change.
Measured, Fair, Fossil Fuel Phase Down
Let us, the common, every day citizens of the world, begin right away to participate in a measured, fair, fossil fuel phase down. Measured because we will be working with our world’s brightest and most informed minds measuring our progress and advising us on if and when we need to increase the amount of pollution we are curbing. Fair, because we will approach the process of change in ways that are most supportive to everyone and with the least collateral damage possible. We will work together with fairness to heal our climate, sharing the load together, with stronger links helping weaker links, knowing they are just as important. Again, we will have the freely given advice of our world’s best minds and hearts working together to help guide this process, resisting interference to our progress with a unified front. Fossil fuel accounts for anything that uses gas, oil or uranium for fuel. Nuclear power was a deadly experiment. Fukishima’s damaged nuclear power planet which is still gushing radiation into our Pacific Ocean after four years!—is our daily reminder of the need not to be insane: do the same kind of things over and over, expecting different results. Phase Down means we intend to use less and lesss dirty power as quickly and safely as we can.
You might be saying to yourself, right now, “but we’ve known this for decades but we haven’t been able to get enough people to do it!” Yes! You’re absolutely right. That’s an appropriate protest. I aim to answer that question right here and now:
Earth Sabbath
I say, let’s start with an Earth Sabbath: One day a week of none of our smoke.
How about we do it on Saturday?
Let’s invite and encourage everybody—across the whole world—to participate willingly and voluntarily. Let’s build a whole campaign, a massive one, on this one simple request to all of humanity: People of the Earth, lest we quickly become extinct, let us participate in an Earth Sabbath: One day a week of none of our smoke!
Let’s do it on the same day. Timing is important. Doing this together will help foster unity and global solidarity—thee most crucial ingredient that has been lacking up through now. Working together in solidarity will give our human society the golden opportunity to unite. Divided we have been falling, united we will begin to stand. We will stand up for life and others will follow.
Because it’s the right time, it’s the right idea, and we who are starting it will organize ourselves, our resources to do everything necessary to make it all happen.
How about it? Let’s say we stave off extinction, heal our planet, and survive together while doing it?
A day with none of our smoke? Oh, hell yes! We can do it, if we have the will and the ability to communicate and coordinate together and support each other like we have never done before. And we will, because our lives depend on it.
and begin as soon as soon as we have two or more people willing to start. We can’t pull the plug on our fossil fuel powered world instantly because we are too dependent on all the services it provides. But most of us, a critical percentage of us, can participate in an Earth Sabbath, and we can all do it on the same day, every week. And I think we should, because it will be in our solidarity that we shall find our deliverance from that which is threatening our food, water, oxygen and coastal lands’ security.
Exceptions must be made in the beginning of our experiment, hospitals and nursing homes will have to participate by minimizing –instead of completely abstaining from—the use of the electricity. Hospitals need to keep life supporting machines running. No one needs to freeze to death nor die of heat exhaustion who are in areas where the temperature is too hot or cold to survive without the current heat and air conditioning fed by its only available source of power.
There may be other exceptions. We will be able to discuss this with one another and agree together in harmony in both our planning and proceeding. We will explore together how this conversation can be carried out in the next chapter, “Communicate within a new Global Symposium”.
Already, the forests that are not threatened by our lumber and beef industry
This is the most important announcement on Facebook. Humanity is approaching a time of decision. I believe our innate survival instincts will empower us to unite in ways we never dreamed possible, and move in the direction our world’s scientists who are advising us to go in order to fix this. Nothing shy of a global human revolution will do it. That’s why it’s going to happen–because we choose to live. We are Homo Sapiens, not dodo birds walking up to men with clubs. We are better than this! We will find a way to get on the same page. We will move together as a species. If the ants can do it, we can to. Away from extinction, and toward Life.
Perform a measured fair fossil fuel phase down. I will propose humanity participating in an Earth Sabbath: one day a week of none of our smoke. Something never tried before, Earth has a chance to relax, take a fresh breath of air and regain its resiliency, so that it has better strength to process our six days of allowing burning of fossil fuels. Humanity chooses solidarity in living.

Store up power: get those batteries going, get batteries going like there’s no tomorrow. Everybody should have access to clean power. A new grid which includes much battery backup all over—in everybody’s house: battery backups! So you do have SOME power on your sabbath day for lights. Maybe you can harness enough battery power to power a refrigerator for 24 hours.Maybe you can harness enough battery power to power air conditioning and heating.
What would that take?
The technology must be deployed and adopted by everybody quickly.

Otherwise we are no good as a species, if we cannot rise up to the challenge that has already greeted us in our day, called
Climate Change: Us-Humans-Caused-It-And-Are-Driving-It-Still-Climate Change.
So much money has been spent to deceive us into thinking it really wasn’t our fault or it couldn’t have been avoided and it can’t be stopped:
all three of those are incorrect.
It was the industrial revolution and the burning of fossil fuels that was too much for our skies.
We have to voluntarily stand down and say

first unified attempt
We know our glaciers are melting and the seas are rising and on and on and on, but we have never actually tried–together–to actually follow our worlds unified international scientific people’s advice to see if the climate can start to heal (and it CAN, if we let it)
But to think the world has never united to make a concerted effort, I mean a real effort,
This “power off day” will be humanity’s first attempt to give our planet’s atmosphere a time to stop choking on our smog, which it is currently doing and reacting to in a manner which is only going to increase.
(fires, droughts and floods, including entire continental coasts going under from sea rise.).
We will continue to do one day off per week for a certain period of time, to give people time to adapt, as well as the production and distribution of clean energy solar and wind power,

The “certain period of time” will be the time we determine together with our world’s scientists and climatologists monitoring the impact of our effort and offering their recommendations whether to increase our earth sabbath to 36 hours (instead of 24) or if we, within our world conversation, decide to do a second day in the middle of the week, or perhaps several hours out of each day.

This globally agreed upon day – per – week voluntary blackout day would require that mass production of food coolers (the kind people take to picnics) so people can pl on their refrigerator not operating, one day a week.

I’d like to see wept.tv become the “go to source” for some of these basics, like information on obtaining thermal coolers, and how to keep them cold, and how long they can stay cold, the option to simply use the same refrigerator and freezer we keep plugged in all week as the cooler, simply adding some frozen ice packs, put our perishables in coolers for that one day so even the refrigerators and freezers can go off.

It can be done by presenting one day a week off and quickly moving closer and closer to phasing out fossil fuels across the planet.

This is what Wisdom is saying. This is what Counsel is saying. This is what our world’s scientists are saying.
We as a species will need to coordinate a measured, fair and systematic “fossil fuel phase down” –
this is literally the only way to circumvent our own extinction,

Being non-sustainable or not going green is not an option for humanity: It is an imperative, and we all must do it at the same time. We all must do our part. It won’t work any other way.

I propose we give up on all forms of Man-caused smoke, such as cigarettes and smoking of other things. No burning of incense. This includes any cell phones or phone system that requires the
power plant to be on in order for it to operate
no smoke of any kind.

I propose we begin with an Earth Sabbath: One day a week where we all stand down.

That’s how you’ll begin.
And you’ll organize yourselves around accomplishing that In a fair and supportive way
with minimum collateral damage as the world learns to get along without fossil fuel energy for one day a week:

The Earth requires a Sabbath
One day a week we shall unplug from every form of fossil fuel, including any smoke that we shall make
We will give our planet one day a week of absolutely no smoke
Even no communications we will shut down and we will be fine

I think Heaven or something willing to speak from the other side is calling for humanity to come together for a sabbath – one day a week
I believe that the Earth is calling for us to give it a Sabbath: one day a week with no smoke, whatsoever.
The Earth desires and requires a Sabbath from us:
One day a week of none of our smoke
That means communications and travels – boom!
Earth Sabbath:
One day a week with none of our smoke
Clean power or no power on that day
in order to save ourselves that we agree at once to give the earth a sabbath -one day a week of not having to choke on our smoke.
Heaven is calling humanity to unite and give the Earth a sabbath: one day a week of none of our smoke. This is something the whole world can quickly work toward, and then expand to two days a week,
I propose that we launch an Earth Sabbath:
One day a week of none of our smoke. The Earth is putting this request out to those who are listening.
The Lord and the Earth wants humanity to participate on a measured, fair and effective fossil fuel phase down and the hallmark of how we can do it is by participating globally in a weekly Earth Sabbath, one day a week of giving the earth none of our smoke.

So that we would all cooperate on “Fossil Fuel Blackout Days”

(a “possible” plan of action)
- from now on, the only lights that go on at night will be lights that are powered from renewable energy sources
(this will translate to our planet looking naturally dark, as it should, from space at night)
- extreme and radical transportation changes,
ranging from companies allowing and supporting people working from home
(only during the day, not at night),
rapidly unplug while minimizing withdraw pain
I’m anticipating that we need to get as close to “pulling the plug on fossil fuels” as we can
without causing too many deaths
from people freezing from not being able to heat their homes,
people burning up from not being able to cool them,
people starving because we pulled the plug so aggressively that
the current food distribution systems collapsed.
A master plan must be drafted for us to
save humanity’s ability to continue to live on the earth.
A preemptive strike by those of us who want to see life continue on earth and
know our governments and corporations (the powers that be) have
proven that they are not willing to let go or
challenge the current world economy which drives this destruction.
What if we had just a small window of opportunity to
- educate the global masses quickly and powerfully
- sell them on the solution “the master plan”
- communicate effectively in every language online
what we all must do to save ourselves and our planet
- give them final words of encouragement — this I think is crucial—
words of grace and courage and hope—
should this (and perhaps all) communication channel should go off air in their area
–give our fellow humans across our blue and green orb the
feeling and sense that we are all in this together,
united we stand and even if the Internet, radio, TV and telephone all go off,
we have had our opportunity to connect,
to discuss what’s going on and have agreed to some essential protocols to follow
for the hope that it will someday get better.
I know this sounds a bit much, but as strong as I have the sense that
some of us are being called and indeed groomed for that
“level playing field” of communication channels across the planet
(for “taking the power to the people”
helping the “consumers arise and unite”)
I believe just as strongly that that sweet spot of communication will be limited
before we are either shut down by those who oppose us
or perhaps more likely, shut down by infrastructure failures of the wires and grids that make the Internet possible.

It should be a day of silence and world prayer
we should be in solidarity with one another all across the world

If we are currently being successful at causing climate change, then we can be successful at reversing climate change, but only if we can find a way to come together.
The present, human-caused climate change must be reversed in the same way we offset it.
It can be done.

cohesive unified action by our species
to turn this big ship around.
I just want to slow down possibly reverse climate change, that might just be a carrot dangling in front of me to move me toward this, I have no idea if it’s achievable or even the real thing that divine wants to accomplish through this, but it motivates me bigtime

Imagine the groans, the panic, the sadness,
the despair of these critters that walk on two feet just like you and I,
who mate for life, who raise kids and have conversations and

I believe that just as we were ultimately cursed by the abrupt climate change caused by the industrial age’s discovery and widespread use of fossil fuels, I believe we can and must rise to reverse this curse.

People sacrifice luxuries that have large carbon footprints, polluting vehicles including old school busses and trucks are pulled over on site and vehicle impounded.
Coal plants phased out as fast as possible.
Third world countries assisted in getting cleaner in use of fuel.
Quick cessation to deforestation.
Immediate stand down of Tar Sands, Fracking and Deep Sea Drilling.
six days a week: prepare
We’d have to prepare for such a venture
Adapt. It’s a new part of your life. Budget for it. Prepare for it.
This will be strategic, prepared for with great care into minimizing collateral damage of the adjustment of turning off all power for one day out of the week
While we all are learning how to prepare (such as keep food cool for a day, medical equipment on battery backups, etc.
